About the author
Moshe Mikanovsky is a writer, artist, and podcaster. He grew up in a modern-orthodox family in Bnei Brak, Israel, served in the IDF, and more than two decades ago made his home in Toronto, Canada — the two worlds that meet in his debut novel.
He studied creative writing at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies, and his short fiction has appeared in The Nabu Review. The Resurrector, published in 2022, is a literary novel of grief, faith, and magical realism drawn from the landscapes and traditions of his childhood.
When he isn't writing, Moshe co-hosts the Product for Product podcast and creates visual art, including custom ketubah designs.
